* We moved into our new headquarters. (I moved into my new house)
* A new version of The Advance Guard went up for sale. (I fixed the problems in the old version and re-issued)
* 955 people worldwide entered the Goodreads drawing for a signed copy of Dinétah Dragon. (Only five people won)
* Copies of Dinétah Dragon went out for review to five outlets. (New York Times Book Review, Buffalo News, Dallas Morning News, San Diego Union-Tribune, The Discriminating Fangirl blog)
The only thing that didn't have any big news was the Blue Star Drive. We're still stuck at $35, folks, so we need some action to help our vets. There's a new patriotic fervor after the news of May 1st, so let's translate some of that into helping to thank those men and women who gave of themselves to help the cause of freedom.
It works like this: 10% of the proceeds from purchases of DCP's books (The Advance Guard in print or Kindle, Dinétah Dragon in print); 10% of the proceeds from normal merchandise sales at the DCP Zazzle store (http://www.zazzle.com/desert_coyote*); and 100% of the proceeds from the sale of DCP Blue Star merchandise from Zazzle will go, currently, to the Disabled American Veterans. This is the final month of the Drive, as it ends on Memorial Day.
Additionally, to help sweeten the pot, orders for print books through DCP's website (through the "Current Books" links above, or follow the links attached to the covers below) can be purchased at a discount. Use code DF9JB5MK at checkout to get either book at an even $10! (Applies to Version 2.0 of The Advance Guard and Dinétah Dragon only.)
